UPW is the first pure water tester to measure in 1/1000ths of
micro-siemens. If you use deionized or distilled water, UPW offers
the only inexpensive method to check its quality. Hanna has developed a much
more rugged and ergonomic casing. Not only does this new stronger case fit
your hand better but the LCD is now much larger so that readings are easier
to see at wider angles and from farther away.
UPW provides on-the-spot and fast checks of minute traces of
contamination in your water assuring high quality of products in processes
such as printed circuit board cleaning. In biology and laboratories the
success or failure of many tests depends on the purity of the water used to
prepare the samples. Armed with UPW you can make sure that the water
is pure and meets specifications before starting your tests. No need to
repeat time-consuming and laborious tests all over again.
